DIALEKTIKA KUNINGAN — In a bid to facilitate Umrah departures, Kuningan University (Uniku) has established a collaboration with KBIH PT. Alzamzami Makkah Wisata.
The partnership was officially formalized on Tuesday afternoon (February 11, 2025), with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by UNIKU’s Rector, Prof. Dr. H. Dikdik Harjadi, S.E., M.Si., and the CEO, H. Moh. Faisal, S.E.
Prof. Dr. H. Dikdik Harjadi, S.E., M.Si., mentioned in his speech that Uniku had successfully organized Umrah pilgrimages in 2023 and 2024.
“In 2023, six individuals comprising lecturers and staff participated. In 2024, twelve people from Uniku and its foundation joined,” he said.
For 2025, Uniku has allocated funds to send 14 lecturers and staff for Umrah in October and November.
“After two successful Umrah trips, we decided to formalize this partnership with an MoU. Thankfully, this MoU between Uniku and PT. Alzamzami provides us with some benefits,” Dikdik added.
Dikdik hopes that this collaboration will enhance the quality of Umrah trips for both lecturers and administrative staff in the future.
H. Moh. Faisal, S.E., the CEO of PT. Alzamzami, expressed his gratitude, saying, “As the CEO of PT. Alzamzami, I thank you for entrusting us to guide Kuningan University in serving the guests of Allah, particularly those from Uniku.”
Additionally, Ngatimin, M.Pd., a member of the board of trustees for Sang Adipati Education Foundation, representing the pilgrims, expressed his gratitude.
“Thanks to the Rector for creating such a comprehensive budget that includes funding for lecturers and staff to perform Umrah. It’s an outstanding achievement,” he stated.
Ngatimin also thanked PT. Alzamzami for their guidance throughout the journey, ensuring safe returns to Indonesia, making the Umrah pilgrimage an unforgettable experience for the pilgrims.
Besides the MoU signing, Uniku also held a thanksgiving event to celebrate the successful completion of the Umrah pilgrimage by its members.***
