DIALEKTIKA KUNINGAN — Proton FC successfully held a friendly match against the professional club Fafage Banua at Saka Futsal Camp in Bekasi.
Despite facing a team with national-level experience, Proton FC displayed high fighting spirit and a promising performance as part of their preparation for Liga Nusantara Seri A Region Jawa Barat.
The match was fiercely contested from the start. Fafage Banua, with their experience and squad depth, put significant pressure on Proton FC’s defense.
However, the team under the leadership of Rio Pangestu Marasabessy managed to show discipline and solid teamwork throughout the match.
Although the final result did not favor Proton FC, their performance served as an important foundation for the upcoming official competition.
On Tuesday, February 11, 2025, Proton FC’s president, Thony Indra Gunawan, expressed his appreciation for the hard work of the players and coaching staff during the match.
He believes that the friendly match against a team like Fafage Banua provided valuable lessons, especially in terms of match mentality and on-field strategies.
“We greatly appreciate the opportunity to have a friendly match with Fafage Banua, a professional club with national-level experience, who are currently also leading the standings in the Pro Futsal League Indonesia. This served as an important evaluation for our team. We saw a lot of potential that can be further developed, both in terms of tactics and the players’ mentality. The match result was not our main focus, but rather how this team can continue to grow and be ready for Liga Nusantara Seri A Jawa Barat,” he said.
Furthermore, Thony Indra Gunawan expressed high optimism about Proton FC’s readiness for the upcoming competition.
“We believe that with hard work, discipline, and the fighting spirit that we continue to nurture, Proton FC can compete in Liga Nusantara. We want to show that this team can be a proud representative for Kuningan in the West Java futsal scene,” he added.
The match against Fafage Banua was part of Proton FC’s preparations before entering the official competition. The team will continue to evaluate and refine their strategies through a series of intensive training sessions and other friendlies.
Additionally, they are building communication with Coach Panca Pauji, one of the coaches of the Indonesian National Futsal Team, who will be appointed as the Technical Director of Proton FC for the upcoming Liga Nusantara, concluded Thony Indra Gunawan.
